THE R-10 WINDOW SYSTEM

The National Fenestration Rating Council is a non-profit organization that administers the only uniform, independent rating and labeling system for the energy performance of windows, doors, and skylights. The NFRC rates most windows on the market with a U-Value rating. The U-Value is a measure of heat loss through a window; therefore, a lower U-value means better insulation performance. Our Enhancement R-10 window system has a U-Value of .10 which on average is 3 times better than the majority of window manufacturers and over 2 times better than the recommended .23 by the NFRC. The Enhancement R-10 offers performance comparable to an insulated wall. Made by adding a third pane of glass or by adding heat mirror, the two cavities of the window are filled with krypton gas to create superior thermal efficiency.
